Marlene Diaz is inspired by her grandmother and Julia Childs, with whom she loved to cook. She believes in enjoying life to the fullest and having fun doing it. As a pasta enthusiast, Marlene enjoys shaping dishes with this versatile ingredient. Her favorite dishes at Urban Solace are roasted portobello mushrooms and herbed salmon. Marlene's adventurous palate has led her to try spiced crickets, but her greatest achievement was surviving her first year of catering.
